The live grid
Staff see courts in facility-local time. A hold taken in the app is a hold on the web. Soft-cancel keeps a seat until the club decides it is gone.

Rules that belong in the server
Age, gender, DUPR, and paid-member checks run on the server, not as a UI hint. Parent-booker lets an adult book kids without occupying a seat themselves.

Desk reality
Staff can place past-dated bookings with an acknowledgement. Friend bookings invite non-family facility players onto a private reservation. Notes can sit on a booking or a player.
